I have been watching quite a lot of Grian's videos lately. I've considered myself a "fan" for quite some — pretty much ever since I began taking English learning more seriously (so, like, 2020 to 2021) — time but I haven't really watched his content since Hermitcraft S9. His videos have been getting pretty long since and, because I got back to school from Lockdown, I haven't really been able to keep up. Just in a week time, I have binged Past Life, Nice Life, the Hardcore challenge, Third Life, Last Life and Double Life and am currently at episode 6 of Limited Life. You'll see, even, that I might have picked up on some of his mannerisms on MD#11 and #12. (I assure you that my English-y accent probably does not come from him. Tomska, Tom Scott, Eddache, RobWords, Dr Geoff Lindsey, TheAmaazing, HyojinCho she who must not be named, Limmy, CallmeKevin, RTGame, the many 2nd Folk Revival artists I listen to... I know some of these aren't English but I'm pretty sure these are some of the ones who influenced my accent the most.)
Back to what I wanted to say. I must say that, watching some of the videos, even though the Life series is pretty much a vanilla series, I have gotten some ideas of mods that I could try adding to the game, but, (I really hate this) I'm pretty sure that these would either conflict with some other mods that I have already added (these which I didn't really like that much) or would add stuff that messes with the world gen and that I would need to walk like dozens and dozens of chunks to generate. I also think that the current modpack that I set up (which I nicknamed Kazpack III; Kazpack I and II will never see the light of day) has gotten pretty stale. And I'm pretty piss'd off that this happenned right after I made the first spell, got the reindeer bike and finished the first level of my "greenhouse". It's Episode 12, for Pete's sake. I haven't even done anything yet.
- I want to add Natura and Serene Seasons, but pretty sure they would conflict with Biomes o' Plenty, which I already found pretty boring, which I can't remove because that would remove whole chunks from the world.
- I want to add Galacticraft, but I would need to make a whole voyage everytime I wanted to look for the resources.
- I have, for a g e s, wanted to add Morph, but, for whatever reason, I have never managed to get it to work. I have iChunUtil. Portal Gun, another mod by iChun, does work in my world with no problems whatsoever. But, for fuck knows how, the bloody mod does. n o t. w o r k.
- I'm also tired of Vampirism. I haven't generated the vampire biome, but I don't know if it could corrrupt some other stuff.
Now that I think more about it, we'd have Ars Magica, Magical Crops and Morph right along with Galacticraft... Science Fantasy it is.
PS: just finished Limited Life. Off to re-rewatch Past Life I am
PSPPS: I'm an idiot. There's still Secret Life and Wild Life to go. Past Life only comes after that.
